Villa FS
Villa FS is a new family residence in South Tyrol, completed in 2025, set among vineyards and overlooking the rolling hills and a distant castle.
Conceived in the spirit of a soft minimalism, the project comprised the full conceptual interior design, the planning of every detail and the on-site coordination of all trades, shaped in continuous dialogue with the needs of a young family.
Tactile materials as wood, stone, troweled cement plaster and linen – establish a quiet, grounded atmosphere. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows frame exquisite views toward the vineyards and pool, while floors in wood and travertine, stone surfaces and furniture in wood, linen and fabric lend the interiors a sense of fluidity and warmth.
The home unfolds as an open plan articulated by thoughtful sliding elements. Light partitions, drawn from the language of Japanese shoji walls, define distinct zones and let the spaces shift between open and intimate.
Two areas structure daily life: a private wing of bedrooms and bathrooms, and an open day zone where the living space, a monolithic quartzite kitchen island and gathering stools invite exchange and conversation. Expansive terraces and cleverly hidden storage keep the composition elegant and effortlessly functional.
Villa FS achieves a contemporary elegance and tranquility – a home that feels at once intimate and spacious, attuned to family life and carrying a deep sense of relaxation.
