Villa S

Villa S is a new residence in South Tyrol, completed in 2025, embedded in the green of the surrounding vineyards.

The project encompassed the full conceptual interior design, the planning of every interior detail and the on-site coordination of all trades, developed throughout in close dialogue with the client's needs – a warm, light-filled home that quietly extends into its landscape.

Wood, stone, troweled cement plaster, linen and travertine give the interiors a calm, tactile presence. Wide glass elements draw the green of the hillside inward, while clean lines and soft textiles hold the rooms in balance.

Living spaces open generously toward the terrace and garden, where ornamental planting and a kitchen garden meet, dissolving the threshold between inside and out and continuing toward the pool and relaxation areas.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen is embedded in the garden and bound to the terrace, anchored by a monolithic quartzite island. Furniture was drawn and crafted entirely to measure with local makers.

Light sliding partitions, inspired by Japanese shoji walls – allow the rooms to be opened or made intimate, offering a flexible, evolving use of space.

The private quarters are conceived as a retreat. A spacious master bedroom with a wooden bed frame opens into an intimate alcove and a walk-in closet, while the generous bathroom centers on a freestanding tub and custom travertine furniture.

Throughout, Villa S unites warmth, natural materials and spatial openness into a home that is elegant, timeless and deeply connected to its views – a place for relaxation and privacy.
